About Me
I'm bogger, a 20 year former Cybersecurity major turned hobbiest and mediocre content creator. I originally started streaming on Twitch back in 2019 before the pandemic, stopped streaming in 2022 because of scheduling conflicts, and now I'm more of an on or off type of "streamer". I focus more on YouTube content now because of, still, scheduling conflicts with work cutting into what would normally be when I stream. It's also hard to justify streaming on 2 random days of the week that my boss magically decides to give me off, because if I have learned anything over the years when it comes to streaming it's that you gotta have a consistent schedule.
Website Purpose
The purpose of me even making this website is for a few reasons.
- Personal Project
If this website is nothing else it just a personal project for me to work on. It's realitively low effort, keeps what little html and css I know working, and is just in short some plain fun. Even if nobody else on Earth but me keeps up with this website that's all that really matters.
- Commentary Video Substitute / Add-on
I'll be the first to admit I am not the greatest at recording myself speaking for a variety of reasons. If I read from a script I sound robotic, if I free style commentate I lose my train of thought on the original topic quickly. Then comes the problem with actually recording, at the time of writing I don't have my own place, and recording myself talking for a subject has to be done quietly as to not distrub those around me. And since I make most of my content late at night this becomes a problem quickly. That may not make sense to a lot of people, but in short I don't wanna wake people up and I can't find a balance between fully scripting my words or just speaking whatever comes to mind.
- Central Hub
What do I mean by that? I mean that I want a centralized location for all things, well, me. The Blog and Socials tabs should be enough of an indicator that if you wanted to keep up with what I have to do this is the place. It is also somewhere external from the big platforms, something different and unique from typical link aggregators. Basically it's just a more involved way to have a place outside of Discord to announce happenings and goings-ons in regards to myself and my channel. Plus there is some exclusive content here that might one day be made into a video, I have had a few ideas in regards to stuff like that in the past that will be posted here.
